Beginnings

Anne-Marie is the owner and founder of Ansielle.com. A former competitive ballroom dancer and instructor, Anne-Marie began making her own bath and body products to address the needs of her own sensitive skin amidst a grueling schedule of rehearsals, hot lights, and a heavy travel schedule. Soon colleagues, friends and dance clients were requesting her emollient body creams and scented soaps for their own use and special gift-giving. Each person offered opinions and special requests for scents and formulas. Every request was welcomed, tested, formulated, and re-formulated. A new passion was born.

In the Workshop

Anne-Marie learned about blending essential oils and botanicals from her grandmother who loved the flowers and herbs of her native Italy. Her artistic flair led to the development of exquisite soaps with creative textures, herbals, and colors. Each soap is handmade with emollient butters, botanicals, essential oils and lush scents. No two soaps are ever alike, and each retains the exquisite character of the natural ingredients used to create them.

Philosophy

Her energy and inspiration come from creating products that promote comfort and well-being, with customer feedback one of the key philosophies of our business. Each formula is designed, tested, and re-tested with the same enthusiasm and openness that harbingered Anne-Marie’s earliest creations. In her own words; "I feel richly blessed to have followed my life’s passions in America, where women are free to start their own business. I wish for all women around the world to have the same opportunity to follow their dreams!"
